Lead to Inclusion

Lead to Inclusion trains educators to integrate young people with disabilities in educational programs.

Mechinat Hannaton and Paratrek have been working for many years to integrate young people with disabilities in educational programs. We both believe that for broader social change to happen and to implement this for our students, one must learn a new educational language.

The Hannaton Educational Center and Paratrek invite formal and informal educators to participate in a unique training program where they will learn to manage an integration and inclusion process.

Participants learn to facilitate a student’s integration.
Participants deepen their understanding of students’ disabilities and needs.
Participants explore the process that students experience when their group includes students with disabilities.

The program takes place over two days at the Hannaton Educational Center and combines in-class learning, discussion circles, lectures, and field trips.

Participants receive mentoring after their practical experience.
