Self Efficacy & Responsibility

Responsibility is an essential part of our students’ growth, confidence and development. 

Each student in the Mechina is given a responsibility within a team. These teams are essential to daily operations, with responsibilities ranging from ordering and preparing food to determining content for their themed, multi-day excursions.

We call their weekly slot for team organization, Betzavta, where they address challenges, solve problems, make group decisions, negotiate and coordinate their group. 

This set up helps them learn to explore options responsibly, delegate, and work together as a team.
