Shared Society

The Galilee is home to many populations, Jews - secular and religious, Arabs - Christians and Muslims, and a variety of smaller sectors and communities. It is this diversity that gives the Galilee potential for either friction or for creating connection between different groups living in Israel.

The Hannaton Educational Center works to weave the tapestry of Israeli society, through a Jewish, pluralistic, and liberal perspective. We do this with an understanding that the question of individual and collective identity is an existential question for Israeli society and the State of Israel.

We place the Galilee at the center of Israeli shared society, by amplifying voices rooted in Jewish, Christian, and Muslim traditions, and humanistic values.

We hope this message inspires the residents of the Galilee and the entire country to pledge a mutual responsibility for each other.
